    for me reallusion put iray in place of octane render is a big mistake AI denoiser and AI lights make renders at 25 samples be usable. ( more fast than iclone on 3x supersampling and toolbag on 25x supersampling ) and octane 4 comes. just to make sure is not diference between 300 samples, and 90/100 ing 90/100 frames the time goes down to 4/5 secs per frame, this is more fast than iclone at 3x supersampling for example ( only for me and you supersampling is useless in iclone yet ) the times are toolbag 3 - 6 secs per frame at 25x supersampling ( the same method of iclone to eliminate anti alias but in toolbag it works ) iclone 7 - tottaly realtime in preview mode ( i just dont use any supersampling on iclone ) octane render 300 samples - 10 secsper frame, 90 samples 4 secs per frame. i made all trailer for this project on octane render / toolbag3/ and iclone 7 in octane version ithis last part i used 300 samples( 10 secs per frame ). Anyway, I'm happy you're happy, even if it only lasts until we hit the next issue. Is the improved quality enough to justify the additional pipeline complications and longer render times? For some people, yes, for others, no. If you make changes and need to re-render, that extra time really adds up. If you can do it in iClone, at a moderate pace of 2 frames per second, that is 20 times faster, resulting in only 1.25 hours of render time. For a 5-minute video, at 10 seconds per frame, that comes out to 25 hours of non-stop rendering if I did the math correctly. Is the added benefit worth the additonal cost? Even Pixar has to answer that question, though on a vastly different scale. Ultimately, many things come down to a " value" question. I'm glad you got a rendering pipeline process that is working for you.
